How we stripe a lot

1. We walk the lot with you and confirm the layout.

2. We clear dirt and debris so the paint bonds to the surface.

3. We apply fast-dry waterborne traffic paint with professional airless striping equipment.

4. The lot reopens as soon as the paint is dry, usually within an hour.

Thermoplastic markings

We install thermoplastic as well as paint. Thermoplastic is a heat-applied material that bonds to the pavement and outlasts paint. It suits crosswalks, stop bars, arrows and other markings that take heavy traffic. Waterborne traffic paint is still the standard, most economical choice for parking stalls, so we will recommend one or the other for each part of your lot.

ADA parking markings

Accessible parking is a legal requirement for almost every business lot. We lay out and paint:

• Accessible stalls

• Van-accessible stalls

• Access aisles with hash marks

• The accessibility symbol

How many accessible spaces you need

The number depends on the size of your lot. A lot with 1 to 25 spaces needs at least one accessible space. At least one of every six accessible spaces must be van-accessible. Local codes can add requirements, so we check your layout before we paint.

When to restripe

Most lots need new lines every one to two years, sooner in high-traffic areas. Restripe when lines are hard to see at night or in the rain, after any sealcoating, or when your layout changes.
